Alex Wilson is an award winning pianist, regularly performing with Courtney Pine and playing to sell out crowds with his own salsa orchestra recently at Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Jazz Club in Soho and headlining the Bristol Harbour Festival. The premiere of an exciting new project by Alex and co-led by veteran Jamaican drummer Kenrick Rowe (Janet Kay, Jazz Jamaica) which draws on Kenrick's vast experience of recording and performing Jamaican music and feeds into Alex's formidable arranging and band-leading skills - gleaned from 5 solo albums and worldwide touring in over 50 countries. Following the hit salsa version of "Ain't Nobody" from Alex's INGLATERRA album, Alex Wilson will be presenting a PA on the Saturday night of the Mambo City Congress, London.
